Zusammenfassung: Multisensory Activities have a great contribution to the teaching/learning process especially on the reading skill development because the use of the senses (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile) helps each letter, word or sentence become more memorable for learners in order to facilitate the knowledge acquisition and retain information for longer. However, some teachers prefer to use conventional teaching methods instead of using multisensory activities which may be the reason of students' low level of reading comprehension, resulting in poor development of the reading skill in general. Thus, this research aimed to analyze the influence of Multisensory Activities on the reading skill development in young learners. Moreover, a Quantitative method was used because all the research process was measured with statistic methods. Besides, this research focused on a pre-experimental method in which just one group of 24 students at Unidad Educativa “Mario Cobo Barona” (experimental group) were subject of study. A pre-test, experiment (the use of multisensory activities), and post-test were carried out in order to identify the learners’ problems and outcomes. Consequently, the Wilcoxon rank test was used to verify the hypothesis, resulting in the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis which means that the application of Multisensory Activities has a great influence on the Reading skill development in young learners
