La comunidad lesbianas, gays, bisexuales (LGBTI) y su calidad de vida en la fundación Silueta X en el Cantón Ambato

Abstract

The objective of the present work is to investigate the incidence of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, (LGBTI) community on the quality of life. Through the qualitative method and observation it was found that social exclusion understood as a process by which individuals or groups are totally or partially limited to full participation in the society in which they live have limited full participation in social life and in turn being deprived of one or several options, especially health, considering that the average life span of the population investigated ranges between thirty-five and forty years of age. Constitute itself in one of the main attacks to the quality of life of the LGBTI; without considering the protagonists as the incidents but to the different constructs around dimensions and perceptions that are developed depending on the cultural, historical, economic, social, legal contexts, among others.
