| Abstract: | Textile production has a long history in the Ecuadorian labor market, starting with the implementation of industries dedicated to the processing of wool, then in the twentieth century, the development of all kinds of fabric was promoted, whose main element was cotton. Currently, this type of industry produces products derived from all types of fibers, such as polyester wool, silk and nylon. This research project aims to analyze the factors of innovation in the textile sector of the province of Tungurahua, in order to investigate the obstacles that exist, in the innovation of the companies The results obtained suggest that innovation is a fairly incipient element within the textile sector, that there is ignorance of economic and non-economic programs to support innovation, and that intellectual property protection is not of interest to entrepreneurs. of the textile sector. In this respect, it is concluded that there is an aspect of the regional and sectorial system of innovation that requires attention from those who formulate and design the policies of the National Innovation System, in order to improve and increase the innovative activity within the productive sectors, particularly in the textile sector. |
| Description: | La producción textil tiene ya una larga trayectoria en el mercado laboral ecuatoriano, iniciando con la implementación de industrias dedicadas al procesamiento de lana, seguidamente en el siglo XX, se promovió la elaboración de todo tipo de tela, cuyo elemento principal era el algodón. Actualmente, este tipo de industria elabora productos derivados de todo tipo de fibras, tales como: poliéster lana, seda y nylon. El presente proyecto de investigación tiene por objetivo analizar los factores de la innovación existentes en el sector textil de la provincia de Tungurahua, con el fin de investigar los obstáculos que existen, en la innovación de las empresas Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a que la innovación es un elemento bastante incipiente dentro del sector textil, que existe desconocimiento de los programas económicos y no económicos de apoyo a la innovación, además de que la protección de la propiedad intelectual no resulta de interés para los empresarios del sector textil. Se concluye al respecto de esta investigación que, existen aspecto del sistema regional y sectorial de innovación que requieren de atención por parte de quienes formulan y diseñan las políticas del Sistema Nacional de Innovación, con el fin de mejorar e incrementar la actividad innovadora dentro de los sectores productivos, particularmente, en el sector textil. |
