    The present thesis is based on the problematic existence in the Sebastian Acosta Park in the city of Baños Agua Santa. The objective is to analyze the current situation and propose a redesign of the green spaces and areas of the Sebastian Acosta Park, reaffirming its importance within the tourism sector of the county, applying theoretical-practical knowledge obtained throughout the course of this degree, through bibliographic documental investigation and field work. Handing out surveys to residents of the county previously segmented with the purpose to obtain real results about the status and the needs of the park. The benefits will be obtained after the intervention is completed. Once the existing problem is identified and analyzed we will proceed with the realization of the proposal, with the objective to improve the function of the areas through the application of a conceptual, functional and esthetic design, applying levels of comfort, ergonomic and anthropometric principles, universal accessibility, color psychology, furniture, materials and ornamentation. Achieving the reassessment of the identity of the city and its public spaces, which in turn will produce a positive change, providing a space for passive recreation and of social connection.
