    Diseño de los puestos de expendio de comida tradicional de Atocha y su impacto en el bienestar de los actores sociales.

    El problema central de estudio es la deficiente planificación urbana en lugares históricos como es el sector de Atocha, en donde existen problemas de circulación vehicular y peatonal, dado estas circunstancias los puestos de venta actual de colada morada ocasionan problemas de bienestar tanto para los expendedores como para los clientes. Por esta razón se realizó una definición de las causas, para posteriormente establecerlas en los resultados. La presente investigación se basa en el paradigma crítico–propositivo, es también de carácter cualitativo, cuantitativo, de campo, bibliográfico y descriptivo. La población de investigación es la Asociación 2 de Noviembre conformado por 21 personas y los clientes que mensualmente son alrededor de 1050, al aplicar las encuestas se obtuvo como resultado la existencia de problemas con los aspectos físicos de los puestos que afectan en especial a los vendedores, y causa desconfianza en los clientes. Por otro lado los puestos de venta al ser improvisados carecen de algunas áreas como la de limpieza, así como también los espacios de almacenamiento y preparación están a la vista. Para cubrir todas las necesidades que poseen los expendedores y de esta manera generar confianza en los clientes, se plantea el diseño de un módulo desplegable de fácil trasporte, con los espacios y elementos que son necesarios para facilitar la venta de comida tradicional, en este caso de colada morada, para el sector de Atocha del cantón Ambato, Provincia de Tungurahua para brindar un mejor servicio a los clientes.

    La iluminación artificial y su relación con la expresividad de los materiales pétreos en el diseño interior

    The research project "Artificial lighting and its relationship with the expressiveness of stone materials in interior design", promotes research and study in the field of artificial lighting, through study in design analyzed through experimentation and demonstration , with the purpose of improving the understanding that artificial light has as a tool for interior design and how it can modify the expressiveness of indigenous stone materials from the city of Ambato province of Tungurahua, Ecuador. This project tries to demonstrate the importance of artificial lighting and therefore its value in the field of interior design, and how it works and promotes new fields of application of this research, leaving artificial lighting aside as a technical field and more. well as a generator of useful pleasant spaces that under the use of interior design can serve to renew spaces already built and which are lacking in design. For which the project was based on bibliographic, technical and laboratory research, with a focus for design and reaching this purpose, critical analysis is used, generating new knowledge. Data collection techniques and instruments were used, promoted by specialists in lighting design.

    Re-significación de espacios patrimoniales en desuso en la ciudad de Ibarra a través de la rehabilitación arquitectónica

    Re-signification is an aspect that is carried out in architecture in order to give a new sense of use to buildings. Rehabilitation, as a method of intervention in buildings, contributes to re-significance because, with this, the building achieves to recover its structural potential. With these interventions, the properties are revitalized and recover their history and the memory they have achieved for years, so it is important that these treatments are respectful to the buildings and must rescue their materiality and their construction purpose. The architectural heritage in Ibarra has a certain degree of protection in the configuration of its buildings. The city was named a heritage city because it has diversity of tangible and intangible attributes, the management of the architectural heritage is aimed at revitalization, conservation and protection to improve habitability conditions, and even for the rescue of identity and urban image. Through the research project it is proposed to re-signify a heritage building in Ibarra. The new use of its spaces will be proposed for a cultural center, in this way the building will be at the service of society reactivating the tourism and economy, the project becomes self-sustaining and most importantly the culture, history and memory of the city will be rescued.

    Elaboración de bolsos con el uso de remanentes textiles

    The present project integrates and analyzes the development of bags with the use of textile remnants, is developed with the desire to recycle and reuse textile materials for the manufacture of bags, promoting the development of good environmental practices, the main objective is to design a collection of bags with the use of textile remnants to contribute to environmental care, for which a bibliographic compilation of the main terms related to the topic raised was made in order to deepen knowledge, in addition to the tastes and preferences of women between the ages of 20 and 28 years of the city of Ambato of a low and low social class that interests the conservation of the environment, in the same way we analyzed the prices at the international level of companies that are engaged in the production of handbags. According to the quantitative data presented by the surveys, preferences regarding the design of the bag were determined, in order to know the inclinations that the market requires. The information collected by the sample was chosen in the design of a collection of bags with the use of remnants, which shows that the market is interested in products that have reusable materials, likewise it was observed that most women are willing To consume handbags made with remnants because it is an accessory essence in the life of modern women, what is sought in this type of products is to recycle and reuse the remnants to minimize pollution with the environment, making consumers aware.

    El neurodiseño como aporte en la retención académica de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

    Design is a way to solve both social and commercial problems, the present research addresses the problem of university academic desertion, which appears not only in the Technical University of Ambato (Universidad Técnica de Ambato in Spanish or UTA), but also in various institutions worldwide and is constituted by several factors that affect each one of the careers according to the social, political and economic context of both the student and the institution. In the present investigation it was possible to define that the main cause that affects the Faculty of Design and Architecture is the lack of vocational guidance and academic misinformation causing dissatisfaction with the selected profession, which has a distortion of expectations about careers so through the first academic cycles, led by demotivation, they decide to defect. Determined the main cause of desertion, Design and Neuroscience take center stage in order to strengthen the communication systems of the University regarding the academic offer to contribute to the retention of students, taking the user as the main object of analysis, since its behavior, emotions, perceptions and motivations are the key essence on which Neuromarketing and Neurodesign found their bases and determine their success. An investigation was carried out among students who are about to enter to a university and have the need to know the relevant information that will influence the choice of their profession; collecting important data such as the information channels they use and their motivations, which allowed generating effective communication strategies with the academic offer by using sensory and emotional impact through the use of Neurodesign methodologies.

    Diseño de calzado para niño/a con desechos industriales de la empresa TEIMSA S.A.

    From unmemorable times the accessories are part of the clothing, covering different needs in accordance with its functions as covering, protecting from cold or heat and external harmful factors that are in the environment. One of the accessories of great relevance in the wardrobe of people are their shoes; especially in children because their curiosity leads them to constantly explore and, in addition, they are in a development process in which they must take special care when choosing their shoes, the same ones that denote elegance, comfort, confidence and freedom. One of the concerns of mothers is the comprehensive care and well-being of their children, in education, food, health and clothing. For this reason, it is intended to design a collection of footwear for children from 2 to 5 years of age in the city of Ambato, meeting the design parameters, taking into account the ergonomics of the foot and the necessary comfort. In addition, it is necessary to take care of environmental, therefore the importance of the use of canvas waste generated in the company TEIMSA S.A, in the city of Ambato, since the remnants that are generated are discarded and therefore cause a negative impact on the environment. To reach the desired end, it is necessary to investigate the tastes and preferences of the target audience to which it is being addressed, through surveys conducted to mothers who provide the necessary data to add the characteristics that the accessory must carry, such as the materials to use, styles, among others.

    The development of the present work arises from the need to increase the capacity of response to the productive process of workshops of confection of sports articles adopting technologies of improvement that they orientate to craftsmen of the confection, those who admit that his products suffer from faults. Principal source of primary information they are the surveys to diverse owners of handcrafted workshops of confection of sports clothes, to chiefs of production, designers of apparel and the knowledge acquired by observation. The principal aim of this thesis is the offer that materializes in the design of a Process manual and Quality control in sports articles, directed owners of workshops of Ambato's City, which application will affect in positive form in the finished product that the craftsmen of the confection elaborate in order that they sit integral and managing part of this process towards a way of success. This investigation helps to have definite the fundamental idea of the offer that does a study on the Introduction and Definitions of the process and quality control of articles, that is to say, realizes a meticulous investigation on the topic to be able to elaborate the conclusions and recommendations

    El Packaging en la consolidación de identidad cultural de las bebidas ancestrales de la ciudad de Ambato

    The ancestral knowledge is a theme that has been fading through the ages, the ancestral drinks of the city of Ambato, is those that have suffered this problem. Therefore, the following research has been proposed to help in the consolidation of the cultural identity of the ancestral drinks. Through the development of a packaging design suitable for this type of drinks is to solve this problem. In the research, a methodology was developed with a mixed approach that links quantitative and qualitative data so that, with the help of the population being studied and that is a beneficiary and of the expert professionals in their area, the characteristics and properties of a packaging that consolidates the cultural identity of the 10 ancestral drinks analyzed and detailed as their ingredients, preparation and data relevant to the culture and then used as inspiration elements for the proposed prototype since it is based on the Panzaleo culture that one of the roots of the city of Ambato; rescuing their pitchers and clay pots with characteristics and unique shapes that many people of the current generations are unaware of.

    La realidad aumentada como herramienta de difusión del Pasillo tradicional en jóvenes de 18 a 25 años de la ciudad de Ambato

    The present integrative project has the purpose of spreading the Ecuadorian Pasillo by means of augmented reality, since at present the traditional music has been devaluing and losing the general knowledge of young people, a musical identity that has had great importance and influence at the level of the country, such as the Pasillo, this is due to the new musical trends and the lack of importance to disseminate through current technological means. It is also based on the need to know its history, evolution, epochs and most representative composers. A combination of current technology such as augmented reality is proposed in order to spread the traditional Pasillo by the variety of interactive and creative functions at the time of using the application, and strategies are created to be able to advertise it on social media such as YouTube and Facebook, which are the most frequented by young people when listening to music, this to be welcomed in the current context of the target audience. This will create an application with an identity that represents the traditional corridor, which together with 3D models will be informed and disseminate the most representative characteristics, as there will also be links that redirect to a set-list with national themes on YouTube.

    The packaging is currently the letter of the presentation of the product and the brand, however, the use of polluting materials such as plastics has made it possible to open the way to the development of eco-friendly packaging; This is how the following investigation describes the damage caused to the environment by plastic funds (packaging used in supermarkets as an object of product transport). Therefore, the following project is focused on defining the form and functions necessary for the development of a friendly container with the environment, together with the materials that are available in the Ambato canton so it will be a viable proposal.
