Thus, the current situation of marketing processes outward of products from Ambato is established. The study determined that exports of textile sector have been steadily declining in recent years , and there is a high deficit in business producers, because they do not have the ability to meet the demands of countries that are recipients textile exports, the main nontariff barriers consist labeling, composition, the names authorized, materials, washing instructions, identification of registration issued by the Federal Trade Commission (USA) , the weight of the fibers and generic names of textile; because of this reason it is essential to improve the conditions and technical specifications of the Ambateños and Ecuadorian textile products. As an alternative solution to the existing problems it is proposed to implement an external marketing plan of textile products, in which competitive strategies are designed to continue improving the competitiveness of Ecuadorian textile producers and their access to international markets.
