Today transport activity is in constant trouble because of decreased profits, increased costs of maintenance, among others, which has led in cities like Quito and Guayaquil request an increase in their rates, currently in Ambato not has requested an increase for the moment, but the constant complaints has made the industry have problems in the future due to increases in taxis better known as carriers rural areas, another is the increasing income of pirates cars operating in the city. Another major drawback is that the state wont 2015 quota limit gasoline because the state has excessive spending on alternative hydrocarbon much taken for smuggling that exists towards the borders and another large percentage is mainly due to irrational consumption of vehicles with drivers who have cylinder capacity2.000cc onwards, and also through field research was concluded that carriers equally consume a large amount of fuel every day so it would not supply 300 gallons subsidized by government annually
