The hotel sector of the city of Puyo is located in the province of Pastaza; everyday city has grown, being recognized for having great tourist sites, leading to generate various hosting sites to visit tourists. It is important that each of the hotel business wear an appropriate accounting process that goes hand in hand with tourism, so in that way can have real financial information and know the current status of each. Consequently, most of the population is that the main problem in this sector is the limited knowledge of the accounting process, as a process of systematic evaluation of companies defining long-term goals; reason is not established why financial information is not accurate and timely information for proper decision-making, also causing economic losses affecting their income for this sector. In the current situation the hotel industry established in the province of Pastaza, Puyo, is necessary to establish the structure of an accounting process being of high priority for proper decision-making and indicate the big problem detected such as information inopportune financial, caused by a disruption in the accounting process, taking inappropriate decisions consequences.
