This work titration called "Impact of inventory management in the profitability of the company VIHALMOTOS IMPORTACIONES S.A.", is intended to assess the level of incidence of inventory management in the profitability of the company to improve inventory turnover taking into account several factors that will be analyzed to have a reasonable diagnosis of what is to be analyzed. Thus for this paper analyzes the processes performed in inventory management, purchase, sale and storage to identify critical points on the other hand took place, financial indicators were applied to evaluate the profitability generated by the importer to improve its liquidity strategies arise inventory liquidation. Also, based on the theoretical information gathered tool that the company must implement to improve inventory management will contribute to a competitive return in the market in which the company operates determined, take note that time of this research there were several limitations such as the lack of information in the absence of delegates for each of the activities within the required processes.
