The water quality of the Ambato River is not in pleasant conditions to be able to make walks along the Luis A. Martinez Park Corridor, consequently the polluted waters of the whole city are discarded thus creating inconvenience to the visitors and the inhabitants of the sector. For this reason, this study was conducted to know the degree of damage that this place has. The environmental economic assessment seeks to assess the damage that an environmental asset has over time, damage caused by the hand of man or by nature itself. There are several types of methods, it can be concluded that each one serves to assess environmental damage and corroborate whether people would be willing to contribute a monetary value. The family budget is of great importance in recent times, many people have relied on this method to carry their finances in the right way and not make unnecessary expenses that will affect their future stability. For this reason, with this research work the person is encouraged to have more interest about the budget and try to put it into practice in order to have a stable life economically.
