Migration is one of the most important variables in determining poverty, which affects both society among the groups most affected by migration are the rural people, for the life chances of these people are still smaller if they are not properly qualified and have a lack of work habit sand responsibility that allow not only access but maintain employment and employ men tin poor conditions under mines the dignity and when people are looking for work cannot find it, the migration is considered a problem. The objective of the research was to analyze the rate of migration on poverty factors of rural residents of Santa Clara county, through field research carried out by means of household surveys of the sector, as well as serving for hypothesis testing and migration in the canton concluding that it should consider the option of introducing tourist attractions to generate employment opportunities and reduce their poverty factors.
