    This report was done in ECOMOLDE company located in Salcedo city. It highlights the importance of the internal control of productionˈs costs for the decision making process and economic development. Though the financial statements analysis and the use of researchˈs methods it could be able to find the potential problem of ECOMOLDE company for the determination and control of productionˈs costs. This problem could affect the decisions and the company could have a disadvantage with the competition. To measure the impact of Standard Cost in the decision making process of the ECOMOLDE company has been required the data collection using research tools. It could allow to technify the production process for a better control of production costs based on specific documents from the beginning to the end of the production process in order to increase the control of raw material, labor and indirect manufacturing costs.
