Item La moda y su implicación con los somatotipos femeninos ecuatorianos(2016) Lescano Salcedo, Andrés Israel; Paredes Morales, María CristinaFor the preparation of this research project has been started from a central problem with social character, such as the imposition and domination of a "prototype (somatotype) Beauty socially imposed" prototypes that are far from the reality of the body and building the ideal of "beauty" of Ecuadorian women, creating physical, emotional and psychological imbalances by not fit the prototype, prompting the rejection of "natural" as undesirable and wrong body, all this supported by the theories of fashion as a generator changes and trends. Thus, the research aims to investigate adverse effects which are those that generate issues studied in society, and even more in the university community, to create critical and analytical "knowledge", for which has been sampled to a small group (205) students (women) from 19 to 25 years old at the Technical University of Ambato, Faculty of Design, Architecture and Arts; with racing Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Design of Architectural Spaces; using as a tool for gathering information a previously structured survey, with a focus on qualitative-quantitative, obtaining interesting results as: 87.8% of the surveyed relate to purchase fashion items with your taste and mood state ; Likewise, 73.3% say not to participate or belong to the circle of fashion negatively influences being discriminated and socially rejected; plus 73.1% of students are not fully satisfied with their "natural" bodies; and 95.1% say that there are no clothes according to their size and body size on the market. Based on these results it has been developed as a creative proposal which should clarify not give a definitive solution to the problem by the scope of it as being a problem of a social and structural scope infinitesimally, which necessarily Ecuadorian state must intervene to ensure the construction of a "good life"
