Therefore, the fashion industry lived a few years after the pandemic in which comfort became the key factor during confinement and teleworking, leaving aside the classic tailoring techniques. In Ecuador there is little use of tailoring techniques in non-formal garments. Therefore, the objective of this integrative project was to develop a fashion portfolio applying traditional and contemporary tailoring techniques to contribute creativity and value to textile design. Methodology: a qualitative approach was used, including a documentary review, interviews with designers/tailors and focus groups, in order to obtain information on techniques such as hand patternmaking, interlining and precision cutting, highlighting their potential to improve the fit, durability and exclusivity of garments. A market analysis (PEST, benchmarking) was also conducted, revealing local preferences for classic silhouettes (pants, blazers) and the need for sustainable innovation. Results: A proposal was designed for the "VIRTUS" brand, which presents a catalog with creative modifications of tailoring techniques (structured sleeves, transformable waistbands), using materials such as cashmeres and earthy color palettes. It includes technical data sheets, production schedules and costs. Conclusion: this fusion satisfies the consumer's search for identity and exclusivity, while the recommendations propose alliances with universities for technical training and the development of ecofriendly sub-collections.
