    Vida laboral y familiar de la mujer académica en tiempos de teletrabajo

    The "WORKING AND FAMILY LIFE OF ACADEMIC WOMEN IN TELETWORKING TIMES" is a research topic for the degree work that is incorporated in the Research Project "INTRALABORAL AND EXTRALABORAL TRAJECTORIES OF ACADEMIC WOMEN IN TELETWORKING AND PRESENT MODALITY; FROM A GENDER PERSPECTIVE". The research focuses on exploring the complex interrelationship between work and family life of academic women, a topic of growing relevance in the Ecuadorian and global context. This study acquires importance by examining how family responsibilities and professional demands impact the careers and well-being of these women. The methodology used within the research was the qualitative method, accompanying the descriptive level, opting for a documentary research modality with an inductive approach. The main sources of data collection were secondary, such as academic documents and institutional statistics, complemented by semistructured interviews with women academics. The results reveal significant challenges: disparities persist in the distribution of family responsibilities between genders, which has a negative impact on the career trajectory of women academics. These inequities highlight the urgent need for institutional policies that promote an equitable distribution of family and work burdens, as well as cultural changes to equally value gender roles in academia. In addition, the study shows that telework, while offering flexibility, also introduces additional challenges such as the difficulty to establish boundaries between work and personal life, exacerbating stress and overload of responsibilities. It is agreed that: the importance of implementing concrete measures to support the reconciliation of work and family life of academic women should be emphasized. It is recommended to develop inclusive policies that foster a work environment that allows professional development without neglecting family responsibilities. This includes the creation of support programs, such as child care and flexible hours and raising awareness of gender equity at all levels of education and work

    Derecho a la calidad de vida digna: Derechos laborales de las trabajadoras domésticas, en el cantón Guaranda provincia de Bolívar

    This paper is an investigation on the right to a decent quality of life for domestic workers in Guaranda canton, Bolivar province. Its main objective is to analyze how this right is fulfilled among these workers, who are in a situation of vulnerability and labor exploitation. Given that their place of work is the homes of the citizens of Guaranda, control is difficult, which facilitates the continuous violation of their labor rights and prevents them from satisfying their basic needs to achieve a dignified life. In addition, this research seeks to determine the specific labor regime of domestic workers, identifying the main gaps between legislation and actual practice, and proposing measures to eliminate these gaps and improve their quality of life. The research, carried out using a non-experimental design and a mixed methodological approach, included three interviews with labor experts and 100 surveys of members of a union of domestic workers in Guaranda canton. The findings reveal a significant violation of their labor rights, reflecting insufficient control by the competent authorities. The workers do not receive the fourteenth salary or the thirteenth salary, lack insurance, are not granted paid vacations, are not paid for overtime, and the mandatory breaks established by law are not respected, which undermines labor rights recognized in the Constitution and international treaties. This situation affects both women workers and their families, underscoring the need to implement policies and actions to ensure fair and dignified working conditions in the domestic sector. This problem shows how the work environment in private homes makes it difficult to monitor and regulate effectively, allowing domestic workers to continue in a state of exploitation and vulnerability. The results of the research seek to serve as a basis for developing policies that promote equity and protection of labor rights, improving the quality of life of domestic workers and their families

    El abandono del adulto mayor y el derecho de alimentos congruos en la Parroquia Juan Montalvo Cantón Latacunga

    The present investigation has like subject: "The abandonment of the Greater Adult and the right of congruos foods in the parish Juan Montalvo of Cantón Latacunga", the same that is the point of departure of the present work. The abandonment is the helplessness of those people who, for some reason, are forced to protect. It is evident that in our society there is a high percentage of older adults who are in a situation of abandonment, since when they are considered as a burden by their relatives they are abandoned, some are in asylums while others in the streets asking for alms and exposed to many types of abuse and dangers including death. This leads to the violation of their fundamental rights established in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. Because of the foregoing, this work was carried out with the purpose of publicizing the obligation that exists to give the respective alimony pension to the elderly, since due to their age they are unable to work and this makes them economically dependent on their families. The doctrine states that the food law requires that everyone enjoy everything for their subsistence, this means, an adequate standard of living in food, nutrition, health, education, clothing, and housing. With the right to an adequate standard of living older adults will be able to enjoy and live with dignity the last stage of their life, guaranteeing their physical integrity through their rights. The right to food congruos are those that enable the fed to subsist modestly in a manner corresponding to their social position, this provision of food is intended to provide a better quality of life to the abandoned older adult. It is a constitutional right to guarantee a dignified life for the elderly.

    El proyecto de investigación tiene como tema: La falta de una ordenanza Municipal de Seguridad Ciudadana, afecta la calidad de vida en el cantón Ambato en el primer trimestre del año 2009. Su importancia radica en la necesidad de crear un proyecto de ordenanza que se encargue de regular lo concerniente a la seguridad ciudadana. Está estructurado por capítulos. El primer Capítulo denominado: EL PROBLEMA, contiene el Planteamiento del Problema, Contextualizaciones, análisis Macro, Meso y Micro que hace relación al origen de la problemática con un panorama Nacional, Provincial e Institucional, el Árbol del problema, Análisis Crítico, Prognosis, la Justificación, y los Objetivos: general, y específicos. El Capítulo II denominado: MARCO TEÓRICO contiene: Antecedentes Investigativos, se fundamenta en una visión Filosófica, y Legal., Categorías Fundamentales, Hipótesis, Variable Independiente y Variable Dependiente. El Capítulo III titulado: METODOLOGÍA plantea que la investigación se realizará desde un enfoque crítico propositito, de carácter cuali-cuantitativo, la modalidad básica de la investigación, nivel o tipo de investigación, población y muestra, operacionalización de variables, recolección de la información, procesamiento y análisis. El Capitulo IV denominado ANALISIS Y COMPROBACION DE RESULTADOS incluye los recursos análisis de la encuesta realizada, análisis general y comprobación de resultados, análisis y comprobación de resultados de las interrogantes de la investigación, comprobación del problema de investigación El Capitulo V denominado CONCLUSIONES Y RECOMENDACIONES incluye conclusiones y recomendaciones.
