This research project aims to determine the importance of analyzing the processes of production and productivity in the textile craft workshops “Hilando El Desarrollo” Program of the province of Tungurahua. The production processes are of vital importance in Pymes as these determine the productivity and competitiveness of each. "Hilando El Desarrollo" Program started as an initiative of the National Government and comes into operation in 2007, and seeks to improve the productive capacity of the beneficiaries, ensure product demand through the national public procurement system and improve levels of welfare family’s participants. For this reason "Hilando El Desarrollo" is presented as an alternative economic inclusion and social mobility for the citizens of the areas of priority attention devoted to textile work, democratizing public procurement, making direct suppliers of the State, achieving economic conditions and dignified and stable work, and compromising their work with the universal school in the country, on the road to the Good Life
