ANÁLISIS DE LA CAPILAROSCOPIA COMO HERRAMIENTA INTEGRAL EN EL DIAGNÓSTICO Y SEGUIMIENTO DE LOS PACIENTES CON ESCLERODERMIA: PERSPECTIVAS CLÍNICAS Y AVANCES TECNOLÓGICOS
(2025-06-16) Zambrano Alcaciega, Angel Norvey; Torres Torres, Johny Mauricio; Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Carrera de Medicina
Introduction: capillaroscopy is a safe and non-invasive method that allows analyzing capillary morphology and architecture, it has emerged as a fundamental tool for the evaluation of patients with scleroderma, Raynaud's phenomenon and CREST syndrome. Objective: an exhaustive analysis of the role of capillaroscopy in the diagnosis and monitoring of scleroderma, covering both its clinical dimensions and relevant technological advances. Methods: a systematic review was carried out using various academic databases including; PUBMED, SCOPUS, SCIELO, TAYLOR AND FRANCIS and PROQUEST. Results: Most of the articles consulted agreed that the stress levels experienced by nursing professionals in the surgical area are high, due to an imbalance between individual and professional factors, the inappropriate work environment and excessive workload stand out. It is essential to highlight the importance of the well-being of health personnel in order to improve work performance, achieving a professional-patient balance, thus guaranteeing an optimal development of their activities within the hospital area. Conclusions: from a clinical point of view, the technique allows direct observation of capillaries in the nail fold, detecting specific patterns such as giant capillaries, capillary loss and microhemorrhages, which are indicative of the disease. Recent technological advances, such as videocapillaroscopy with polarized optical light probes and vision transformer technology (ViT), have significantly improved the precision and visualization capacity of capillaroscopy.
