    The tourism activity in the province of Tungurahua represents an opportunity for all involved, however, demand for the intervention of public policies that helps to better control the tourist companies, in addition, to encourage investment and innovation of destinations Of the province to attract more people and generate resources that contribute in the economic, social and cultural development of all who live in the province. The reason for the development of the research was to know the benefits that tourism generates in a given population, as well as to define all those involved that need to be analyzed in order to carry out tourism improvement plans. As a result, it is evident that all those involved in the tourism sector in the province have benefited from this activity, however, they still feel the lack of support from the authorities to be more efficient in attracting tourists and benefiting from this. It should be noted that the benefits have been economic, social and cultural. The predominant relationship of the variables is that of the cultural changes caused by tourism and as the tourist activity causes loss of traditions and customs, because people the longer the time of their trip tend to adopt the new environment. Next, there is the relationship between the average income generated by tourism and the investment made by those involved in this sector, because a company invests based on its income. Finally, there is the relationship between leisure times and cultural changes generated by tourism, due to the fact that local tourism can be adapted to different customs, especially in countries characterized by diversity Cultures and customs of each province and region.
