    Estandarización de procesos en el área de desenrollado de trozas en la línea de producción de tablero contrachapado de la empresa Arboriente S.A.

    Industrial production has a large number of activities, tasks and resources that are part of products elaboration processes, which are organized in a systematic and structural way through procedure manuals and Standardization techniques appliance, which facilitate the variability reduction caused by special reasons. Within unrolling area of plywood production line at "Arboriente S.A." company. There are several problems that produce product variability, for which a processes standardization design is proposed, carrying out the activities and tasks recognition, standardization development techniques related to the qualitative-quantitative approach of the DMAIC methodology and procedures manual approach. In activities and tasks indentification, techniques of open interview, brainstorming and information collection form are used, for stratification and selection of the problems found, the defects verification sheet and the Pareto diagram were used, determining that the vital few are inadequate pressure on the bar, incorrect use of speeds, failure to use the circular pattern for center identification, improper use of the lathe chuck, and pauses in the running of lathe. In order to analyze in depth the causes that give rise to each problem, a detailed description of its Characteristics was made, the 5W-1H technique and the Cause-Effect Diagram were used, thus studying the reason, person responsible, place, moment and way in which each failure occurs, also considering quality areas such as labor, materials, machinery, methods, environment and measurements, concluding that most causes are directly related to the methodology and the personnel that manages the activities and procedures within the area, for which improvements related to training systems for the personnel of the area, relocation of material resources, inspections and implementation of the procedures manual, are proposed.
