    This case study was based on the need to evaluate the process of granting loans and delinquencies of credit union "San Martin" of Tisaleo, because there is deficiency in lending, as this causes inconvenience when manage and retrieve them no longer allowing compliance with policies and procedures framed in the Credit Manual; this helps to detect flaws and weaknesses of the process to find appropriate solutions that allow you to maximize the organizational development. For which it was proposed and carried out a Credit Management Model that will improve the processes and procedures of granting credits. This model arises through five stages; beginning with the promotion followed is credit analysis, resolution, formalization and disbursement and ends with monitoring and credit recovery. With this instrument the credit counselor has a guide for lending compliance with the parameters and policies established by the institution. KEYWORDS:
