    Evaluación de recursos hídricos en la cuenca del Río Tingo

    The main objective of this project was to implement the chloride ion as an environmental tracer in Tingo River Basin, for estimating recharge, through the Mass Balance Chloride Method (MBC). River basin Tingo, is an area of paramo northwest of Ambato, an unknown place talking in technical and scientific terms, which were proposed fieldwork in the Cuenca said, to determine its geometry through design one piezometry; In addition several points of groundwater discharge, discharge to the Tingo River tributary and rainwater was monitored to estimate recharge through the Mass Balance Chloride method (BMC). This work it performed for 8 months and analyzes were conducted in the laboratory of thermochemistry of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the Technical University of Ambato. The results obtained in laboratory and field have been satisfactory, since it has been able to bring to the area, with, geological maps, type and land use of the area under study, in addition to estimating the rate of aquifer recharge and know their exact geometry.
