Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Sinchiguano Landeta, Jorge Wladimir; Sánchez Rosero, Carlos HumbertoThe present research work is aimed at the personnel in charge of administrative activities in the offices of the Financial Department of the Municipality of Saquisilí Canton, due to the fact that they do not maintain an appropriate posture during their working day and do not take corrective actions, either because of lack of knowledge or because they have the wrong idea of comfort. The people who work in these jobs usually do not have a correct posture when using the computer equipment, generating an increase in the level of ergonomic risk and increasing the probability of suffering Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD). The main objective of the research is to develop an ergonomic assessment to determine the level of risk to which they are exposed and thus develop a proposal for improvement in the workstations. Using the GTC-45 matrix, the risks present were identified, mainly ergonomic risks, which represent 69%, and through the assessment it was established as a "not acceptable" risk. Through the application of the Nordic Questionnaire, it was checked whether the workers present ailments in the different body areas and with the ROSA ergonomic evaluation method, the final scores were obtained which, according to the method, ensure that the workers present an "extreme risk" level and require urgent action in each work post. With the results obtained from the assessment it is concluded that the workers are affected by incorrect postures and inadequate conditions at the workstations. In view of this situation, an ergonomic risk prevention system was developed, which includes the dimensions of the furniture by means of an anthropometric study, the correct postures at the workstations and the exercises to be carried out during active breaks.
