    The objective of this research is to design a city brand for Urdaneta parish, in which it helps to promote the potential such as the religious festivals, tourist places, and agro productive fairs. In this way, it would be possible to achieve a solid and long-term image to be recognized as a tourist potential within the Saraguro canton. This project used qualitative and quantitative methods since interviews and surveys were carried out to obtain information about cultural and identity issues of local tourists and people of the parish. From the analysis and interpretation of results, it was evidenced that Urdaneta parish did not have a graphic identifier that would represent it in digital media, conferences or holidays. Therefore, it was found that the city brand project is necessary and viable in order to make Urdaneta parish recognized and differentiated from other GADs.
