    Estudio del peligro sísmico determinista para las estructuras del barrio Jardín Ambateño de la ciudad de Ambato

    The present experimental study aims to determine the behavior of the ground front of a seismic event in the structures of the Jardin Ambateño neighborhood, with the purpose of compare the real response spectrum of acceleration will be generated in the study site in relation to the spectrum of the Ecuadorian Construction Standard. In order to accomplish this research the following parameters were considered: the tectonic plates were constituted considering the nearest of the geological plates in the area, there was realized a classification of type of profile of ground from the average shear wave velocity Vs30 by means of the Standard Penetration test, based in the parameters of moment magnitude, distance to the epicenter and focal depth of each plate respectively, settled prediction equations of motion of ground for the generation of the spectrums of acceleration mentioned by each author, for the conformation of a deterministic spectrum wraparound of the site. The acceleration generated by deterministic spectrum is greater than the spectral acceleration provided by the NEC-15, considering that both are within the same interval of period of time
