Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd), a cereal highlighted by its great nutritional and economic content, is distributed by a series of South American countries and adapted to various geographical areas. It has a morphological and genetic variability in our country. Accessions of quinoa collected in the provinces of Tungurahua and Chimborazo were studied in order to identify their characteristics and observe their variability. The essay was carried out at Granja Experimental Querochaca of Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias in Universidad Técnica de Ambato, studying eight accessions with the evaluation of morphological and genetic characters. The variations between these accessions were identified through dendrograms and an Anova, where agronomically the D and F actions were highlighted in most of the characters studied (Plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, panicle length, panicle diameter, grain diameter). These accessions were collected in Colta (Chimborazo) and Ambatillo (Tungurahua). Moreover, the data obtained allowed to form dendrograms of genetic (4 groups) and morphological (3 groups) relationship. Such classification is generated by the place where the accessions were collected, influencing the geographical location and agroclimatic condition of the harvest place.
