(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Diseño y Arquitectura. Carrera de Diseño Textil e Indumentaria., 2022-09-22) Salazar Carrillo, Evelyn Andrea; Sánchez Sailema, Erika Catalina
In the present integrative project, a collection of clothing is developed to contribute to the positioning of the traditional festival of the diablada pillareña, based on the application of forms, symbols, graphs, colors, which contribute to the cultural value and allow identifying the conceptual elements of Party. This proposal was made due to the fact that various promotional objects are marketed in the festival of the diablada pillareña, however, clothing garments that are focused on and inspired by the symbols of the festival have not been built. That is why all the graphic and symbolic elements were studied for the execution of the integrating project. The application of the elements of the party in the garments, have a symbolic and functional value, design upper outer garments that allow expressing the essence of the party, the same ones that are inspired by the clothing of each of the characters such as the devil, the guaricha, the capariche and the line couples. With this project, it will contribute to the conservation of culture and tradition through clothing, helping to maintain the country's intangible cultural heritage, it is a responsibility of all professionals, even more so of textile and clothing designers. who are part of the fashion industry and must focus on the conservation of the various clothing systems in the country.
