    The pedagogical updating of teachers tends to improve the quality of education as teacher training is seen as necessary and essential for the development of their work, hence the teacher must constantly trained for the proper development of the teaching - learning process so as to achieve improved quality of education and professional enrichment. The upgrade is designed as an essential need that must start developing strategies that encourage teachers in the Unidad Educativa "González Suárez" for neglecting traditionalism, and apply new methodologies, through appropriate training, be motivated and not required, awakening the innovative spirit and above all to enrich their knowledge. The methodology used in this research consider the qualitative approach, type of mode field through observation and analysis of the results allowed conclusions, recommendations and the development of a proposal to provide training. Show that an updated teacher is a teacher prepared for all changes that are generated in Education allowing this to exercise its job effectively. The end result will be an updated teacher that students can develop their skills, and especially meaningful learning that will help enrich the quality of education today.
