Angelman Syndrome (SA) is a neurological disorder characterized by motor, psychomotor, spasticity, hypotonia, speechlessness and ataxia; Within the area of Physical Therapy, there are rare cases such as the AS, hence the importance of investigating the way in which the physiotherapeutic approach is being carried out, thus developing the present investigation with the objective of determining the Physiotherapeutic competences applied in the neurological disorder SA. Using an exploratory, descriptive and observational methodology, which includes a participant with the neurological disorder, in the Pelileo canton. For the collection of data, information was obtained from the Clinical History about the Physiotherapeutic care that the participant received in a type B health center, information that was organized according to the evaluations and protocols of attention. In a second part the evaluation was performed to know the results of the treatment, using the GMFM, BBS, and the assessment with different assessment instruments taken from chapter 2 of the book Physiotherapy in Neurology, where we will evaluate muscle tone, trophism, superficial sensitivity , cranial nerves, functionality of the muscles with the TMM, we will evaluate the deep postural reflexes using the Seidel scale, superficial and mucosal reflexes. With the development of the research it is concluded that the professional competences are not fully applied, so in the evaluation performed the participant does not present an advance or improvement; taking into account that the remitted treatment is poorly focused.
