This integrative project addresses the problem of the lack of information that exists in rural areas regarding chronic malnutrition, a problem that affects the entire population since the province of Cotopaxi is the rural area with the highest rates of malnutrition. The methodology used is based on the realization of surveys applied to the population of the rural parish of Chantilin in the province of Cotopaxi, in which the deficiencies that the population presents in terms of health can be verified. In the same way, observation cards were made to establish the parameters of the editorial design in the materials already existing at the present time. The proposal has as a starting point the elaboration of an informative pamphlet, the same that will allow to inform more in depth the topic of chronic malnutrition in the area, besides that there is a playful juice for children to begin to educate themselves and to diagnose which are the foods that should be ingested according to their age. It is recommended to develop illustrations that contain the characteristics of the population so that the target audience feels identified with the product, incorporate a solid layout with an appropriate font size and handle colors that appeal to children and attract their attention.
