    Social anxiety is one of the main disorders that affects the mental health of people, its main causes unfold from family origin and its sociocultural context, delimiting social capacities and interaction with their fear due to their low participation and inclusion in society. Therefore, there is a presence of social inequality due to their lack of decisionmaking in the face of fear of being judged and criticized. From an educational perspective, social anxiety has had a great impact in the school environment due to the presence of students with little dynamics and integration skills that have been the product of their insecurities generated by their parenting and training style, deploying protection mechanisms for their well-being. emotional by avoiding social situations that cause fear and fear such as interaction with powerful groups, a student in front of an educational authority causing the problem of school absenteeism. The purpose of the descriptive and exploratory research is to determine the influence of social anxiety on school absenteeism, for the development of this research a mixed approach was used, by which it was possible to study the percentage of students who present social anxiety due to average of the use of the test applied to 100 students of the Millennium Educational Unit "Canchagua" and their level of school absenteeism with the application of interviews focused on the educational trilogy (student, teacher and family). It was determined that school absenteeism is multicausal and that in effect the individual factor gave great relevance to its development based on their emotional well-being that comes from the family, breaking down other causes such as organizational, interpersonal and exogenous and the presence of sociocultural determinants
