    The constant evolution and the change that is lived in the world today, forces the human being to prepare and face the challenges that are going through it, in Latin America great strides have been made in relation to education, inserting links with the purpose To improve the entry to the world of work, so in many countries as in Ecuador, attempts have been made to break down barriers that prevent people from acquiring a good job, giving them the opportunity of a better education to enter the market more easily labor. This research has as main objective to study the occupational field of a professional graduated of the Career of Accounting and Audit of the Technical University of Ambato and its incidence in the indices of employability during the period 2013 to June 2016. Under this scenario and through the survey that was conducted to all graduates, the relationship between the variables employability and the occupational field was investigated in order to measure the evolution of employment in the Accounting and Auditing Career. The most significant result of qualitative and quantitative type is reflected in the occupational field maintained by the graduates who work in their area and what can contribute to future professionals are inserted labor. Another of the important results in this research is that a student of the accounting and auditing career performs different functions within his labor field for those who are mostly qualified.
