    Ovarian cancer is a disease that affects every October 1 women worldwide, occurring in early and advanced ages ranging from 30 years to 65 years. Due to lack of patient knowledge about tumor markers more than 60 % of cases of ovarian cancer are detected in advanced stages, resulting in an incidence of 205,000 deaths a year worldwide Within diagnostic methods in laboratory tests we can mention as early marker CA 125 and HE4 (human epididymal protein) as a specific marker, the latter being marked tumor more precisely for the effective diagnosis in early stages. With the data of the above tumor markers can be determined INDEX ROME (Algorithm Ovarian Malignancy Risk), which is a calculation that tells us the probability of developing ovarian cancer, classifying patients into categories of high, low risk.
