(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Diseño, Artes y Arquitectura. Carrera de Diseño de Modas., 2018-11) Masaquiza Sailema, Luis Omar; Paredes Morales, María Cristina
In the global village where general criteria of valuation, rescue that involve the traditions and culture that pro of a renewed craftsmanship, that make it a subtle, peaceful and contemporary trend that begins to echo in small and vast cultural circles like social. This discernment about craftsmanship as a constituent element of the history of humanity, which is current in the current context with different realities in Ecuador, frames the beginning of our research. Where information is researched and contrasted to demonstrate that "Integrate design in the artisanal environment of the city for the improvement of processes and products through experiences based on co-design" is achievable. The research with a methodology of qualitative approach with a field research and supported by a bibliographic mode showed that the artisan has a wrong concept regarding the designer in search of a collaboration and technical knowledge based on the mold, in addition it is verified that the artisan is degrading to the scenario of simple duplicator destroys its essence and becomes a bare operator. On the part of the designer it was found that a training promotes clear concepts that are necessary for the rescue of traditions and culture that are on the verge of disappearance, in search of a product that promotes a sustainable reality, social values, better economic conditions for all its actors. The promotion of participatory artisan-designer meetings in search of a craftsmanship with design that promotes innovation is transcendental, which is achieved with the incorporation of technology and improvement in the design processes, which are vital for the development of a proposal where prime collaborative work, with a high degree of altruism so that two-way learning occurs, with it the product will have a new market with a concept that can be taken towards sustainability, valuing manual craft work with clear signs of identity and belonging . The connection between the artisan and designer must be sequential, prioritizing the contribution that each one, the artisan seeks knowledge about the reality of the design that can be developed and facilitated by the designer as a communication bridge for collaboration.

In these times the world that makes fashion in Ecuadorian territory is integral and the production is multitudinous. When different garments are manufactured as clothing complements, the development that satisfies the needs of the present population is left aside, without compromising the capacity of future generations to satisfy their own needs. As a result, a society is formed that consumes goods even if they are not necessary, with productions without identity, and as a result of this, environmental pollution. What this integrative project seeks is to investigate procedures and residual elements that are feasible for the elaboration of costume accessories, taking into account the theory; reduce, recycle and reuse, with the purpose of using it in the creation of collections of accessories, all produced for sustainable parameters. Due to this, it is important to highlight that with this project it is desired to create raw material through tin waste discarded by the human being, to elaborate innovative designs and offer responsible and sustainable products to consumers. This project is considered unique as it combines ecological and social elements, resulting in a message of awareness through each designed accessory, where sustainability is present to continue innovating to the world of fashion according to the needs of our environment and not only of the consumerist individual.

(2016) Venegas Montalvo, Karen Eliana; Paredes Morales, María Cristina
The project was executed started from a very clear need in the market is the lack of existing innovation in the design of Ecuadorian children's clothes, so I wanted to present a proposal for different design, in this case I was conjugated the design and innovation with education, presenting garments to serve as tool playful, multisensory stimulation for babies; from the last decades the phrase early stimulation is increasingly fashionable and because people are becoming more aware that education is the foundation for their future lives and that will depend on the opportunities they have to be successful people. Early stimulation becomes very important in the growth and development of the child, if it can stimulate a child from an early age and appropriately can exploit the full potential with the least developed skills and abilities, so the child will know their skills in the future will use. The importance of early stimulation is such that it is considered a basic requirement for optimal brain development of the baby, and that enhances brain function in different areas (cognitive, language, motor and social); There are several techniques to encourage a small, brightly application and contrasting colors, textures, sounds, and playful details are some things that are to be applied in clothing, materials that the infant be linked daily by the use apparel and accessories with which to develop their creativity and ingenuity, receiving stimuli every day, from the moment of his birth, achieving abundant, common and different stimulation thus ensuring that the baby can gain rich, new experiences for developing. A lot of times parents know the importance of early stimulation, but do not know the proper way to stimulate the design proposal seeks to create a tool that can be used in such a simple way as everyday clothing a baby creating strong emotional bonds between parents and little incorporating the family as primary stimulation agent. vi Several methods to meet the interest of the fathers to the project, interviews and surveys giving feasible resulted in the development of this type of complementing garments with a social and educational approach used. To reach the consumer's mind, we worked in all areas of fashion design adding value to garments starting from the creative area through technical area of pre-production, manufacture, finishing and promotion, paying close attention to every detail to achieve impact on consumers to find an original product that in addition to basic features such as quality and ergonomics have flashy garments and unique extras: thus achieve a more sustainable development, promoting linked to human talent, technology and knowledge activities through the change of the productive matrix obtaining a high level of local, national and internation impact

At the same time, an investigation of current trends must be carried out to allow the fashion to be reflected in the design. The necessary resources, both economic and human, are completely available, as a dress in Demi Couture that is understood as a unique and personalized piece avoids the intervention of other people in the production, the manual work of the designer plays a fundamental role during the process, which allows the design to have an added value in both aspects as aesthetic and economic. The development of children's clothes for girls of 2-4 years has great importance for parents since they enhance the delicacy and sweetness of the same through tissues made manually which are made in different colors to match the outfit and applying current trends, using the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analyzed the points in which greater focus must be to reach a successful acceptance of the product through surveys of parents which determined the requirements of the market objective, also could be made that there are currently no children's clothing with hand finished. (Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Diseño, Artes y Arquitectura. Carrera de Diseño de Modas., 2018-06-05) Guamán Egas, Silvana Alejandra; Paredes Morales, María Cristina
In the jeans industry, a factor that causes the deterioration of the environment comes from the textile waste produced during the cutting phase of the pattern. Although these are recycled, the accumulation of large quantities is inevitable. One of the reasons is the implementation of conventional patterns that are designed specifically to leave negative spaces between molds, due to the sharp lines and curves. So, pollution increases at the rate that fashion evolves. However, this has gone unnoticed by businessmen, because the most important are the economic gains that the environment. In recent years, fashion systems within industries require a sustainable transformation. Therefore, it is necessary to look for alternatives that enjoy a sustainable system within manufactures, encouraging new ideas to conceive clothes. That is why it was proposed to design a linear pattern with the intention of optimizing the raw material from the point of view of the ecological fashion, taking as reference of the sector to the factory Drous Jeans. For which we deepened the research, obtaining broad and applicable results. A qualitative study was also carried out in which it was addressed to entrepreneurs and designers with experience in the jeans industry, in the same way to a representative of the Ministry of the Environment. The linear pattern process and its results are documented in a book that shows all the challenges and opportunities to generate garments with a more sustainable touch. This is addressed from theories about zero waste pattern cutting. Proposing their own proposals, which was based on a size chart with the percentage of shrinkage applicable to jeans.
