    The present thesis is the “The credit risk and its incidence in the index of delinquency of the Savings and loan cooperative San Francisco Ltda. of the city of Ambato.” The topic has been designed whereas clause to the client, as the main axis of the cooperative, offering adapts to the minimum requirements of a healthy administration in the process of credits respecting the politicians settled down by this institution to avoid irrecoverable debts and families that don't have the enough economic revenues to pay the debt and even but to be able to survive, becoming in doubtful. The initial part of this work contemplates the problem that is presented in the institution, it stops then by means of the basic and concise theory with regard to the credit risk of the client and the delinquency index, to determine which it is the current situation that presents, all this without leaving aside the methodology and investigation type used for the attainment of this work. Finally it is exposed the results that are of 76.67% that he/she manifests that when necessary to apply a plan of credit risk, since the delinquency indexes are in a 3 to 5% and we cannot allow him to increase their value.
