“Cuidados de enfermería en traumatismo craneoencefálico y su relación con las oportunidades de mejora”
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Enfermería, 2017-12-01) Palma Caisachana, Danny Alexandra; Herrera López, José Luis Lic.Mg.
Cranioencephalic trauma is an alteration in the neurological function caused by an external traumatic force that causes physical damage at the level of the encephalon being one of the most relevant public health problems that annually affects the population and represents one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality, especially in the adolescent and young population. In the present work the main objective is to analyze which were the factors that intervened in the cause of traumatic brain injury through a bibliographical investigation and clinical history to improve the life style in the patient. The methodology was handled by means of a bibliographic, descriptive and field study since it was possible to establish contact with the patient, allowing to identify which were the risk factors. The results were obtained through an interview with the patient's mother where the patient's health problems could be identified. For this reason, an in-hospital care guide was used to maintain quality care and provide a better lifestyle. In conclusion, the purpose is to carry out new schemes such as the elaboration of flow charts in the hospital services directed to the nursing staff, which will serve as a guide to perform procedures and special care that the patient needs for a quick recovery
