Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Pachacama Tipán, Christian Wladimir; Naranjo Chiriboga, Israel ErnestoThis research work proposes to improve strategic planning in the consulting firm "Change Factor Consulting", which is in a stage of restructuring, implementation and transformation for its prolongation in the market. Inexistence of documented material and tools that faciltates management in follow-up measurement have contemplated formulation of a strategic plan for a correct business management handling that allows the correct direction to the fulfillment of improvement objectives. Initially, an analysis of the current situation of the consulting firm is carried out through strategic analysis tools and matrix that allow an internal and external inquiry, combination of competitive analysis tools with Porter's five forces, generating a more implicit and synthesized information. In addition, formulation of strategies according to company kind that requires it, facilitating in a certain way internal cooperation and recognition of external factors, to consequently develop operation plans. Within results, it has been found a company with weaknesses in the internal environment reflected in the EFI matrix with a value of 2.45 and with a little more solvency in the external environment represented in the EFE matrix with a value of 2.57, with conditions to improve both productive and recognition, so that it was necessary to restructure direction in which the company should continue to take advantage of each of its opportunities and strengths in a better way. Strategic plan has 17 strategies, both intensive and conservative, generating a direction to services, transformation, customer, recognition and internal participation, generating total control of the organization. Finally, operating plans and Balance Scorecard are proposed in which guidelines are established for acquisition of objectives according to the period and the proposed goal.
