    Estimación del tiempo de muerte en cadáveres no sepultados: revisión sistemática de la literatura médicoforense

    This research focuses on the area of forensic science. Forensic science is currently considered as a science or art to determine the different causes and dates of death. The objective of this research is to analyse the scientific literature in order to evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of current methodologies for estimating the time of death in unburied corpses. For this purpose, qualitative research was used, with a descriptive and bibliographic documentary research design, using secondary sources of information such as scientific articles and updated books. It was observed that both current and traditional methodologies are very useful for estimating the date of death in unburied corpses. It is focused on parameters such as environment, cadaveric flora and fauna, climate and temperature, morphology, state of decomposition and scenario for such estimation. Finally, it is worth mentioning that regardless of the method used, Anderson, thanatomicrobiome, radiology, observation, mineralisation, among others, are very useful, as different points of view can be observed.
