Item Sistema de captación de energía con paneles solares para abastecimiento de dispositivos electrónicos de bajo consumo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2023-03) Nuñez Altamirano, Maritza Tatiana; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoCurrently solar panels are widely used to capture solar radiation and generate voltage, so they are being used for Energy Harvesting applications, as it offers an inexhaustible, economical, and environmentally friendly energy source, besides being able to be combined with other renewable energy sources and be stored, supporting sustainable development. To take advantage of the characteristics provided by the solar panels, different configurations can be made with them, which can be: series, parallel and mixed, which will increase the voltage value, current or both according to the arrangement formed and the needs of the system to be carried out. The methodology carried out has been the design, simulation and characterization of the solar panel configurations and manufacturing of the DC-DC conversion and energy storage stages that make up the system. This paper studies low power solar panels for energy storage applications, to form a complete energy harvesting system, composed of 3 stages. The first stage is in charge of collecting the energy coming from the sun by means of 4 mini monocrystalline solar panels of 2.4V and 80 mA arranged in mixed configuration, the second is a voltage regulator element to stabilize and raise the voltage coming from the first stage, finally the third stage is the storage, composed of a battery charger circuit and a 9V rechargeable battery.
