Item La accesibilidad a la información y la inclusión social de las personas con discapacidad visual de la Provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2016-03) Silva Silva, Ricardo Adán; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoWhile the access to information, communication and culture, is a fundamental right of every human being and although the UN has provided equal opportunities to access messages and documents daily broadcast media, people visually impaired have to seek alternative means and modes of access to information for that lack vision, not exceeding limits strictly necessary. Hence, the diffusion and knowledge of the information needs of people with visual disabilities are an enabler for the relationship and partnership with them and therefore a valuable contribution to the integration and social participation. In the present research work it was proposed as objective: to study how this affects the accessibility of information on the social inclusion of people with visual disabilities in the province of Tungurahua during the period October 2014 - February 2015, aiming to guarantee the rights of people with disability and helping to improve the quality of life for this group of priority. In this sense, knowledge outlined in the proposal help optimize the functional management of technological tools used in the creation and implementation of strategies into a working model oriented towards meeting accessibility requirements and standards in the context of the development of accessible communication products, considering aspects whose accessibility can be verified and continuously improved in the search entry, stay and quality processes, favoring the digital divide between technology and the different types of people. Finally, do not try to train specialists in the development of communications products accessible, on the contrary, it seeks to provide, in a simple, basic information and practical recommendations applicable in daily contact with people with visual disabilities, ensuring a more comfortable and effective relationship.Item Actitudes de la Audiencia respecto a las narrativas epleadas en Radio Máxima Caracol de la Ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2018-04) Suárez Fiallos, Fernando Fabricio; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThe present investigation is focused in studying the attitudes of the hearings on the implementation of the radial narratives of Maxima Radio Caracol of the city of Ambato. For them it has been chosen to use methodology of qualitative and quantitative approach in where it was applied the due surveys to the inhabitants of the city of Ambato, in addition to one it interviews directed to the Director of programming of the radio in mention. In the harvesting made for the investigation in general context we can deduce that the women were the sex that dominates within the sample, in addition that the rank of dominant age is of between the 26 to 35 reaching the conclusion which the radial means are dominated by a hearing of adolescent and adult public, followed very of near a young public that includes between the 15 to 25 years, a little relegated is the hearing greater to 35 until the 45 years, that is to say, the radio divides equally a young hearing - adult with formed criterion. Within the activity to which she is dedicated in the sample we have students followed of housewives and people who dedicate to exert the law which they are the most dominant groups, with this is reflected that the radio is still considered like means of company for people who exert an activity that she requires of the same one. But we happened to the point in where we realize which the people who listen to radio in their majority do not know on the narratives, that is to say, that the radio listens to it empirically. Nevertheless at the time of establishing a listing of narratives people incline that the radios of the city of Ambato apply to the use of the narrative jokes, reaching the conclusion that the local radio chooses to entertain and to amuse its listeners, but emphasize in the investigation the fact that people do not know in her majority if the radio uses a specific format for its programming. In addition they show that they see of extreme importance that a program before leaving to the air must be planned of a correct way to avoid to fail and to obtain the rejection of the hearing still more when a competitive market within radial means exists, but they reach the conclusion who the radios if they make previous studies to define his programming and selection of target, maintains their position that is of extreme importance of the use of a correct language on the part of the speaker to go to its listeners. Although previously we presented that people are connected with the radial world, by means of her exigencies, the result includes in its majority that the people do not consider consuming assets but they have a favorite program at the time of tuning the radio, nevertheless do not feel an attachment or identification towards the radio that listens for that reason it is that the implementation of a manual of identity is recommended or marks of the even radio that can occur to know the best way and to implement communicational strategies that help to fortify the image. In the country, this right has been altered by various laws, regulations and reforms that have questioned the extent to which freedom of expression is considered as such. This is why a work was carried out whose objective was to establish the scope of the legal framework in the field of communication and its impact on freedom of expression, which is characterized by being documentary, descriptive-explanatory, on the other hand also A survey was conducted with 24 students in the seventh semester of the social communication degree to find out their perspective on the topic. The results showed that 8.3% totally agree that currently, the existing legal framework encourages freedom of expression in the country, with respect to the question of whether they consider that communication professionals in Ecuador are supported by the current communication regulations, 25% mention that they agree. Finally, 25% totally agree that to promote freedom of expression, the legal framework regarding it should be increased. With the development of this research work, it was possible to identify the evolution of communication laws in reference to freedom of expression in the country, where it is evident that it has been a complex and contradictory process, since, in its early stages, Ecuadorian laws protected freedom of expression in a limited way, allowing prior censorship and other restrictions. That is why for the present research we analyzed the impact that this phrase had on men with the name Andrés in an age contemplated from 10 to 50 years old, and for this purpose several interviews were conducted with open questions through the zoom platform to have a more direct approach and to know what was their performance before it, that is to say, to have a more in-depth support and thus measure the impact on whether this phrase influenced political or social aspects. In order to fulfill the objectives that were set out from the beginning of this work, experts on the subject and several investigations previously carried out were taken as a reference to support this study and thus understand the connotation of this phrase and its meaning. This study investigates the narratives and the main changes that sports journalism has had, trying to renew its dissemination formats, which have allowed to incorporate more entertainment to the products that are consumed. To check the change that sports media and their journalists are constantly making, with the aim of staying current within a world as competitive as communication and journalism, in the first place, a netgraphy also known as virtual etnography has been carried out, seeking from the digital experience itself to contribute the research, in addition, though digital surveys, knows the opinion of users and consumers of sport information and finally, through virtual interviews, talk with communicators within the sports field so that they contribute their academic knowledge and work experience achieved within the profession. This research has allowed to show the benefits it has had in sports journalism, the possibility of complementing with different technological tools, capable of renewing the formats, offering an educational content and at the same time entertaining, which can meet the needs of all users who enjoy different sports.Item Comunicación Emocional e Inteligencia Emocional en el Ámbito Académico(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicaciòn, 2024-02) Paredes Pérez, Tannia Lizbeth; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThe general objective of this research was to determine the influence of emotional communication and emotional intelligence in the academic field, in the same way, it allowed to know the importance of maintaining an emotional balance when teaching classes so as not to affect the learning and teaching process, also, that having a good emotional communication admits to create long-term bonds. A study was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative approach, for this a sample of 297 students between 187 women and 110 men from the Communication, Social Work and Law careers belonging to the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences of the Technical University of Ambato was used, likewise, there was the intervention of 6 teachers two for each career. The instruments used were the survey guide and the interview guide in which detailed questions were asked to measure the impact of the problem. The main findings of the study reveal that students are careful about how they handle different types of language, also, that it is ideal for them to have a loving bond to perform better academically, however, they do not have the appropriate management of emotional intelligence to end the relationship but contributes to personal and professional growth. On the other hand, the teachers said that it is important to separate family, social or professional problems, since they can transmit a negative image to students, because body language is perceived when entering the classroom. In addition, the young people expressed that educational centers should strengthen emotional skills such as empathy and self-control. Internal communication is a key strategic tool in the institutions, the research is about Internal Communication in the Red Cross, Provincial Board of Tungurahua and focuses on identifying if internal communication is generated in the rented employees of the institution. Once the problem is detected, an investigation is carried out, where the theoretical framework is constructed to properly base the variables based on the information gathered from books and the internet. The methodology of the research is established and the instruments for the collection of information are elaborated, which will serve to make the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the variables investigated, proceeding to carry out a statistical analysis with the data obtained, in this way the Conclusions and Relevant recommendations by the researcher. In order to collect the information, resources such as surveys and direct observation were used, which convey the employees' feelings. The research reflects, how important is the Internal Communication in the institution. The research will provide information on how to handle healthy intergenerational communication in difficult times, in times of quarantine, the same that at the beginning united the families, where the first days were rest, but the days passed and the problems began, living with different generations can be a problem, in other cases a way of entertainment and learning. The problem of this research is the clash of generations, each with different thoughts and ways of learning, without a doubt the coexistence intensified in this Covid-19 health emergency and interpersonal communication within the family plays a very important role, as it is where generations learned to get along, they learned to find ways to entertain themselves by agreement. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to contribute to the discussion on the social construction of feminine beauty, which is crossed by the components of cultural domination and western beauty patterns, which have become entrenched in Ecuadorian culture through these types of contests, which promote exclusivist canons by commercializing the female body. Therefore, it is necessary to address this issue of social interest. For this, the research introduces historical elements on the social construction of the imaginaries of beauty and the female body. At the same time, a brief analysis of beauty from the western discourse and its perception through time is presented, as well as a short explanation of the beginning of beauty contests until today and how these events have become a political, economic and segregationist tool, as well as the participation of indigenous women in these events. To finally analyze how the social construction of beauty, governed by western standards, responds to a whitening process protecting the changes and aesthetic impositions for these types of contests. This is why, as an alternative to communicate and contribute to the historical knowledge of people, this research concludes with the creation of a virtual platform or website through which the historical contents with which “Ambato Ayer y Hoy” account will be disseminated, guaranteeing a source Information and interaction about the history of the city of Ambato, photos and data that are relevant will be published weekly.Item El contenido sobre información cultural en los diarios el Comercio y el Heraldo de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2022-11) Barragán, María Sol; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThis research focuses on the content of cultural information in the newspapers El Comercio and El Heraldo of the city of Ambato. The main objective was to determine how much content on cultural information is published in the newspapers under study. The methodological design had a qualitative approach, since the cultural news of the two newspapers was analyzed and interpreted, extracting characteristics. The modality was bibliographic, since it allowed the theoretical-scientific part of the project to be grounded. The level was descriptive, exploratory, due to the fact that the scope and results obtained in other research on the content of cultural information in the newspapers El Comercio and El Heraldo were investigated. In addition, the reality of cultural journalism was detailed. The technique used was framed in observation because it allowed a general analysis of the type of information disseminated in the newspapers under study, as well as a brief exploration of the number of publications with cultural content published in the year 2021 in August and September. The main results showed that El Comercio publishes more cultural information than El Heraldo newspaper, since, in the first newspaper, 15% is destined to cultural content and in the second, only 9% of the news is for culture-related topics. However, in both cases, the percentage of the area established for cultural content within the newspaper is very small compared to the opinion, classifieds, hobbies and curiosities sections. In addition to this, in both newspapers, cultural content is mostly focused on the Literature subsection, with 50% in El Comercio and 48% in El Heraldo. Likewise, the subsections with the least preference in the analyzed newspapers are: music, history, cinema, museums and civic dates.Item La credibilidad en los noticiarios de la TV ecuatoriana(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2021-02) Hernández Cevallos, Jéssica Anabel; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoSince its inception, television programming has been created with various purposes, such as informing, educating and entertaining all its viewers. Therefore, this investigative work is directed towards one of the main characteristics that news programs should have, such as the existing credibility in the content of the Ecuadorian television news programs, which is determined by the level of trust that the news programs have viewers on the truthful content provided by the media. The research analyzed the level of trust and the general opinion that viewers have about the Ecuadorian television newscasts, since in order to know their impact the following objectives were set: to contrast the content of public and private newscasts, identify the level of credibility and collect various bibliographic and statistical data related to journalistic credibility. In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, taking into account the current state of the country, an online survey of 13 questions was conducted among a population of 5,600 users of the social networks of both Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, who mostly stated that the credibility of the Informative content has decreased notably, however, there are people who affirm that the newscasts mostly fulfill the purpose of keeping them properly informed about the news events that occur in daily life. It should be noted that this research is carried out with an extensive bibliography of expert professionals on the subject of journalistic credibility, where it is shown that the investigative work provides essential and relevant information.Item La cultura afroecuatoriana y la comunicación Intercultural en el Cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales , Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2016-11) Mosquera Méndez, Andrea; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThe points presented in this research are key arguments to determine that knowledge of other cultures opens communication gaps, checking that the inclusion of afroecuadorian social practices contributes to intercultural communication of Ambato through the promotion and diffusion of the afroecuadorian ancestry and self-identification. Inclusion is an important element that determines the multiculturalism and diversity of a city, by introducing their cultural values and talents, it contributes to the acceptance and recognition of the other, abolishing certain types of racism and discrimination that deprived afroecuadorians of other positive values which are embedded in their culture. This research shows much of what afroecuadorian culture is, based on axiological, anthropological, legal, and philosophical aspects that contribute to the study, along with communicational and cultural theories in order to demonstrate current social participation and the afro problematic that can be seen in the city of Ambato. In addition, this study presents a different form of treat the meaning and the significant related to the way of recording the afroecuadorian past; an unprecedented way to talk about communicational rights, as well as group, and public rights, proposing strategies of empowerment and interaction. The study revolves around the main messages that are emitted in the ceremony or cult, they can be known through an informative table raised as a proposal, where what is said, what is said, what is not manifested and the intentionality are identified. Several statements are taken into account as a starting point as a qualitative investigation is sought in each message the "function manifests the consequences recognized and consciously sought by individuals, and by latent function that is not recognized or sought" (Marín, 1976). For this reason, the present work proposes to identify the methodological strategies and educommunication models that have been used as tactics in the teaching-learning process during the Covid-19 health emergency at La Inmaculada Educational Unit; For which a qualitative methodology is used, with information gathering through interviews and focus groups carried out with students and teachers of the institution through the zoom platform, in this work an analysis of the methodological strategies applied before and after during the pandemic for the teaching-learning process. When we talk about Educommunication, we are referring to a field of research, reflection and social intervention, it is for this reason that is taken as fundamental that this type of communication training used in radio programs in the city of Ambato, with the in order to provide an information tool that promotes healthy eating in the economically active population (EAP) that will help to expand knowledge and allow them to use these media to raise awareness of Ambato city. This research was conducted under a mixed approach to research, ie qualitative and quantitative variables regarding research. field research was applied to obtain results through observation and survey.
