(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-04) Mosquera Ojeda, Kimberley Jhajayra; Quiroga López, Malena Karina
The purpose of this research work is to analyze the social, economic and psychological factors that confinement generates as the main measure against Covid-19 and its incidence in the intrafamily relations of the Community of the Gilgueritos Child Development Center of the Parish of San Francisco de Borja in the province of Napo. The study was carried out from a social perspective, which made it possible to collect the experiences and circumstances that CDI families have experienced since the social restriction, quarantine and confinement measures imposed by the government in Ecuador were implemented. The information collected through surveys generated a fundamental study base in which social factors such as unemployment, confinement, loss of family members was identified; economic factors such as the reduction of wages; and psychological factors such as: post-traumatic stress, fear, uncertainty that occurred in the members of the family nucleus caused by the global pandemic. Through the stratification of ideas, a statistical analysis of frequencies has been generated, in which the repetitive factors and criteria of the study population that refer to the incidence of confinement in intra-family relationships are observed. The researcher considers developing a proposal to mitigate and reduce the negative impact of confinement on family relationships; In addition, it ratifies the commitment that the social worker has to ensure the intra-family relations of the Community of the Gilgueritos Child Development Center of the San Francisco de Borja Parish in the Province of Napo and shows that the main factors that influence are: concern for the growth of contagion cases, failures in the national health system, economic instability and progressive unemployment.
