    La gestión del riesgo de crédito y la liquidez del sector cooperativo de ahorro y crédito segmento 1 de la provincia de Cotopaxi durante el año 2015

    The present research work aims to respond to the problem: "Credit risk management and Liquidity of the Cooperatives of savings and credit segment 1 of Cotopaxi province during the year 2015". The development is taken 7 cooperatives conducting of field and documentary research through annual bulletins of the 2015 of the Superintendence of Popular and solidary economy.The economic situation Ecuador during the 2015 due to the fall in the price of oil and the appreciation of the US dollar brought challenges to the financial system therefore the cooperative sector as the adaptation of a limited monetary offer. One of the root causes of financial institutions is the nonperforming loans caused by the lack of resources financial needs of cash requirement therefore analyzed and financial indicators are evaluated to determine if credit management is influencing liquidity. To the grants different credits to its partners leads to the exposure of the liquidity risk, in addition to this deceleration of the placement. The cooperative sector recorded a decrease of liquidity from 2014 to cause not only of the nonperforming loans increased but also economic fluctuations and political uncertainty throughout the year, each of the institutions have as challenge to incorporate strategies and policies more stringent for the granting of credit in order to prioritize coverage and liquidity levels.
