(2022-09) Molina Molina, Alexander Andrés; López Velástegui, Jorge Enrique
Since the company Rikokom Alimentos S.A. needed to improve the packaging process for sauces and dressings in 4 kg presentation, it was proposed to design and build a packaging machine for these foods, the technical project was carried out in its entirety, and with the requirements set by the company. All the information gathered from different sources, in addition to the studies conducted in the field, were able to determine the feasibility of the packaging system to be implemented, in addition to obtaining basic operating parameters for the equipment. The structure and the different elements that make up the packaging system that were designed and implemented were made with selected materials, such as AISI 304 stainless steel, a material most frequently used to prevent corrosion and damage to the equipment. Comparisons were made between the different packaging methods, having as main objective the selection of one of them, for this process a selection analysis was made which led us to the best option and the one that was carried out. Finally, the calculations and respective design criteria for the different elements that make up the system were carried out, as well as the cutting and turning processes for the different pieces that were made and used in the final assembly of the equipment. In addition, the respective drawings and a maintenance manual were made to avoid damages or premature failures of the equipment.
