Efecto de un probiótico natural sobre la producción y calidad de la leche en bovinos (Bos taurus)
(2017) Loján Jácome, Miguel Ángel; Kelly Alvear, Gerardo Enrique
The production behavior of bovine animals (Bos taurus) was evaluated at the "UMBRIA SA" farm in Mejía, province of Pichincha, due to the addition of the natural probiotic in the feed, which were compared with a treatment Control, distributed under a Design Completo a Random, evaluating different productive variables during 62 days of investigation. The animals were fed: TS: forage (ray grass) 13Kg MS, concentrate 5 kg as base diet, T1: diet basis plus 25 g natural probiotic, T2: diet basis plus 50 g natural probiotic; T3: base diet plus 75 g natural probiotic, T4: diet based plus 100 g natural probiotic. The pasture supply was 15 kg DM / cow / day and the nutrient quality of the pasture was 26.1% CP; 1.50 ML Mcal / Kg; 36.4% NDF; 36.4 Mcal / Kg ENM, 5 kg of the concentrate was offered, the nutritional quality of which was 13.1% PC, 1.72 Mcal / kg, 13% FDN; 7.7% FDA. The best milk production (P <0.05) was determined with 26.76 ± 0.80L of milk / cow / day for T4 and TS of 24.03 ± 0.72 L of milk / cow / day. In the analysis of milk quality, fat, protein, solids, lactose, density, salt and pH did not show a significant difference in all treatments with P0.05; T4 had the lowest production cost of $ 0.26 / L. In conclusion the highest yield and lowest cost of milk production was with 100g of natural probiotic in bovine feed (Bos Taurus). It is recommended to transfer the results obtained at the level of dairy farms, in order to use additives that allow to obtain greater production of milk and of optimal quality. KEY WORDS: NATURAL PROBIOTIC, MILK QUALITY, MILK PRODUCTION.
