    “La estimulación táctil en el desarrollo motriz fino de los niños y niñas entre 3 a 4 años en el centro de desarrollo infantil bilingüe English Kids en la ciudad de Ambato”

    The present investigation was developed based on the theme: Tactile Stimulation in the fine motor development of children between 3 and 4 years old at the Bilingual English Kids Child Development Center in the city of Ambato, for which there was a population of 20 children between three to four years, being, 12 girls and 8 boys. In order to obtain the necessary information and raise the baseline, the TEPSI Psychomotor Development Test was used, which allows us to assess 3 sub-tests that are: coordination, language and motor skills; Each of these sub-tests has several application items, but for this research only the coordination sub-test that refers to fine motor skills was taken into account. Two evaluations were carried out to develop this project, the first allowed determining the category in which each of the children participating in the coordination subtest is located, and based on the results, the tactile stimulation activities focused on development were applied fine motor. Subsequently, the second evaluation was carried out, which showed progress in the area of fine motor skills; resulting in 90% normality at the end of the investigation. It was thus possible to conclude that it is necessary to apply a valuation instrument to understand the abilities and aptitudes of each child, in order to later grant an appropriate treatment according to the needs of each child; On the other hand, the application of tactile activities as a didactic method for motor development is indispensable.
