(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Posgrado, Maestría en Trabajo Social, 2018-04) Herrera Vargas, Zoraya Samaritana; Naranjo Ruiz, Viviana Fidencia
The investigation about the socio affective situation of the reconstituted families and the psychosocial development of the students from la Inmaculada elementary and high school in Ambato city was done due to the result of the exploratory investigation elaborated in the Mastery of Socio Familiar Work in The Technical University of Ambato. The purpose of study approaches an emergent problematic in which students who come from reconstituted families show a problem in the student development, what expresses through certain aggressiveness in the interaction with the others, non-fulfillment in the student obligation, difficulties in the psychosocial development, and low academic performance, in where perhaps the family intervention is incipient in the reconstituted families, what generates disagreements between its members. The research methodology that is appealed is qualitative and quantitative. By means of surveys to students, a semi-structured interview to the school counsellor at The Student Counseling Department DECE, and the direct observation by researcher and tutors from each one of the courses, it was possible to obtain data that allowed getting the problematic and confirm the hypothesis set seasonably. It means that the socio affective situation in the reconstituted families, affects to the psychosocial development to the students from La Inmaculada elementary and high school in Ambato city. With this result, it was set as proposal to add an Intervention Office in Social Work connected to the DECE in the investigated institution.
