The current research project consists of a system that allows taking soil samples to determine its fertility, visualized on digital maps based on IoT. The system was developed due to the lack of technification that exists in the agricultural centers of the city of Ambato, which consequently has bad use of fertilizers, bad organization in time in terms of the delay of studies in laboratories, planting of crops without giving a previous study of the soil which generates economic losses and resources. The system is made up of two nodes for measuring the main soil parameters in terms of chemical and physical composition such as pH, electrical conductivity (value to soil salinity) and soil moisture, the latter allows determining the texture of the soil. The first measurement node will be with the magnitudes of pH, soil moisture and temperature and the second measurement node only consist of the electrical conductivity variable. The measured values will be shown on the map prepared on a platform that provides the service in a circular way with its rendered data and in turn a dashboard indicating the state of the sampled terrain, previously the data for each node will be sent via RF to a central in charge of receiving and uploading the information to an IoT platform where it will be integrated with a server for storing the data in order to obtain them for said map. For the analysis of the data, I worked together with an agronomist for better orientation, offering data on the pH variable that also provided knowledge on the behavior of the nutrients according to the pH value and together with the humidity in both rainwater irrigations. like drinking water.
