    In the province of Tungurahua we have the presence of different cultures, as well as the same, in the same way, the same, crafts, festivals, traditions and customs, among them, is the millennial community of salasaca, located in the Pelileo city. , this ancestral town has diverse forms of cultural expression, the traditions that become a year in which it is conserved, in contributing thus, in future generations. In this community we find a great variety of cultural expressions, sea for its festivities, handicrafts, gastronomy, clothing, agriculture, livestock, and tourist areas, among others. A significant group of natives is dedicated to the development of crafts, this is a small group of indigenous people, it is a bond between the family, and the pacha mama (land). With its fundamental principle, which is the transmission of know ledge. There are very wise people, the times that last their useful life, the history is still remembered, the facts at the moment of marking the life of the salasakas. An axis of the economy of this millenary town, is the development of handicrafts, they can better appreciate their own history, their daily life, festivities, sacred sites, their deities of worship, animals, birds, geometric figures, among others The axis of this investigation is the iconography, and its meaning, in order to identify zoomorphic, anthropomorphic, phytomorphic, ornithomorphic and geometric figures groups, the same ones that are more representative of this town. After the collection of data and information, graphic resources are used, the development of editorial design elements is allowed, in which photographs of daily activities are implemented, contrasted with the graphics and the meaning is respected, in this way you can interpret the existing message in crafts and their ancestral meaning, in this way that the community breathes in the conservation of their customs and traditions.
