    Diseño editorial y el aprendizaje de la lógica matemática de niños en etapa operacional

    This research project tries to determine the influence that Editorial Design has on the learning processes of mathematical logic in children at the operational stage in Esmeraldas city. Moreover, this project was carried out in order to establish the parameters derived from the editorial design which can contribute significantly in the preparation of the didactic material used by teachers and consequently improve the teaching-learning cycle in public institutions. To develop the present research, it was necessary to collect bibliographic information from books and scientific articles. In addition, the whole investigation was contrasted with interviews directed to experts in education and design, allowing to verify the importance of didactic material for the learning process, and to corroborate the relevance of editorial design for the assimilation of knowledge, as well. Through the investigation, it was possible to notice the editorial deficiencies that the textbooks currently used present. Moreover, these problems were the basis for establishing the most suitable parameters for the development of educational material directed to children, with the only purpose of motivating and stimulating learning through the correct and efficient handling of editorial elements.
