Adolescents represent one-third of the world's population, about 777,000 are said to be women who became mothers before 15. In Latin America and the Caribbean, sexual activity is beginning as early as age 11. For Ecuador, the data provided by INEC indicates a different age: 18 years for women and 16 years for men. For this reason, the research aims to analyze the factors that determine early sexual awakening in adolescents between 10 and 15 years all. The applied research was qualitative, cross sectional cohort with a descriptive phenomenological approach, applied to adolescents between 10 to 15 years, using as an instrument a semi-structured interview with a script of 15 questions for the adolescent and 8 questions for the representative, divided in four categories. Reference chain sampling was used, starting with 2 participants up to 14 participants. For the analysis, a table was prepared with the textual data, organizing them into four categories, according to the bibliographic references: social, biological, sexual education and interpersonal relationships; for the subsequent triangulation of information. We conclude that in most of the participants there is the presence of at least one determinant of early sexual awakening, but not in all of them the sexual awakening is evident, except for two cases, in which all the determinants are present.
