    Manejo integral de las lesiones (roturas) meniscales

    Currently maintaining a correct physical condition has become synonymous with a healthy visa, however, the lack of preparation or training can result in serious injuries for people, the knee area and its menisci being one of the most common in present discomfort. Objective: To carry out a systematic review on the causes and treatments of meniscal injuries. Methodology: Systematic review of scientific articles of the last 5 years related to the subject of study, through the use of search criteria to limit and select adequate and valid information for the study. Results: 10 articles were selected from journals indexed in English and Spanish, where the main charts and treatments of meniscal injuries could be identified. Conclusion: It is concluded that the most used technique to diagnose a meniscus injury is magnetic resonance imaging, although ultrasonography can also be used and with respect to treatment, it was identified that there are both conservative and surgical treatments, which should be applied. according to the physical characteristics of the patients.
